Neuw Lou Crop Armageddon Night
When Lou Reed recorded Velvet Underground’s now iconic LP in 1966 he was wearing jeans similar to the Lou Crop. It only seems appropriate that Neuw would name them after such a legendary musician. Unlike the undone finish of raw selvedge, this pair is treated with heavy stone washing to achieve an authentic worn-in character with various fading throughout. Premium in quality, raw at the hems, they’ll hold up in at a gig as you mosh around.
ABOUT
The name “NEUW” is inspired by the place on Nieuwlandstraat in Brussels where one of the founders Pär Lundqvist began to alter vintage denim pieces and the idea to create a modern denim brand was born.
Pär was an major collector, spending years travelling, collecting and examining the finer details of thousands of vintage garments that had endured the tough test of time down mines, on fields and on the streets of major cities.
Every pair of jeans Neuw makes is based on this extensive research. But, rather than just replicating what once was, Neuw adapts details, patterns and fabrics to be perfect for right now.
